Megan Grew up in the mountains of Asheville, NC and received a BS in Biology in 2005 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (go Tarheels!). She graduated in 2009 from the University of Tennessee's College of Veterinary Medicine, and after this, completed an internship at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver (home of Animal Planet's "Emergency Vets") before moving to Colorado Springs to join North Academy Veterinary Hospital.
Megan's professional interests include internal medicine, emergency/critical care, and being an advocate of pet overpopulation prevention (spay and neuter!).
In her spare time, Megan enjoys running (with her beautiful mixed-bree buddy "Tank"), speaking /practicing Spanish with anyone willing to listen, snowboarding, wakeboarding, playing soccer, tennis and exploring all that Colorado has to offer. As a warm weather enthusiast celebrating her second year in Colorado, she is excited about/bracing for her second Rocky Mountain winter.
